1. FindWhat minimum bid increase
and announces new tool suite
================================

FindWhat this month announced that it would be increasing its minimum bid from 1 cent to 5 cents. It did however say that bids below the 5 cent mark would be grandfathered.

The grandfathering will work slightly different to how Overture approached the situation, which should work better for advertisers.

You can create and modify listings with bids below 5 cents from now until September 1 and as long as you don't make any changes to your listings after then, your bids will forever remain unchanged.

My advice is to obviously check and double check your listings and bids before September 1 if you want to keep your bids below 5 cents.

Chances are that if it's important to you that your bids stay below 5 cents, you won't be changing your bids or listings much.

New FindWhat tools.

FindWhat also announced a new suite of tools for its advertisers called CruiseControl, possibly to help soften the blow regarding the higher minimum bid.

CruiseControl includes AutoBid, AdAnalyzer, Campaign Scheduler and AutoReplenish.

FindWhat says the AutoBid feature maximizes the amount of traffic to your website for the lowest possible prices by automatically optimizing keyword bids.

It says AdAnalyzer is a post-click analytical tool that allows advertisers to view their actual return on investment by keyword and campaign.

The Campaign Scheduler quite simply enables you to schedule the start and end of various advertising campaigns within your account.

AutoReplenish is exactly what it sounds like, and allows you to keep your account funded.

2. Go Toast & Espotting change prices
and Ah-ha implements daily caps
=====================================

Go Toast.

If you use Go Toast to help manage your pay per click search engine campaigns, I have some good news for you. Go Toast just combined its BidManager packages and lowered a lot of its prices.

It says that your package will automatically reflect the lower price if applicable.

Espotting.

During April Espotting increased its minimum bid from 5p to 10p across its distribution network in the UK.

It said all bids below 10p would be automatically increased to that amount at about 1am on April 15.

Ah-ha.

Do you have a limited amount to spend monthly on pay per click search engine advertising only to have it run out before the month is over?

You may be interested to know that Ah-ha now allows you to set a daily cap on your spending, enabling you to spread your budget over each month better.
