1. FindWhat expands deals with CNET and Excite
==============================================

FindWhat has been the big mover of late. GoTo, now Overture, has made some big moves too, but they have mostly been highly criticized ones.

Your FindWhat listings have been displayed on CNET's Search.com metasearch engine for over a year. FindWhat listings will now appear in the Search Partner results as well as in WebFerret results, a downloadable search tool.

As well as this new agreement with CNET, FindWhat has been working hard with Excite.

Your top ranking listings will now appear on each page of Excite's results, not just the first page. The listings will be labeled as "Sponsored Listings" and will provide a link to more of FindWhat's listings.

2. Progress Update
==================

Recently I updated the top ten. The biggest, yet most warranted move I think, was the removal of Sprinks from the top ten. Because of its move to a minimum bid of 5 cents, along with a minimum of $100 to open an account and no improvements to reporting or the accounts area, the demotion was well deserved.The number of search engines listed is growing exponentially, as it has been for a while. Since I published the last Update Newsletter during September, the streams of new pay per click search engines have been thick and fast.

The Update Newsletter now has almost 8,000 subscribers and ads are selling out fast. In fact, there's only one ad left this year.

The subscribe and unsubscribe information is located at the bottom of each newsletter, without fail. Please don't reply to this message with "unsubscribe" in the message, as it won't work.

3. Last chance to pick experts' brains
======================================

There is less than 2 weeks until you get the chance to pick my brain at the IMS2001 conference in Berlin.

There are speakers confirmed from most major search engines and some UK and European pay per click search engines, too.

If you are interested in attending, visit the conference site here:
