2. Another traffic increase at GoTo

GoTo recently announced two more deals it has introduced to bring an increase in traffic to advertisers.

If your site is listed within the top 3 at GoTo.com it will appear in a section labeled "Sponsored Listings" on AltaVista.com. The deal is expected to bring several million searches a day.

HotBot.com and Lycos users will be shown the top 3 listings from GoTo under a "Featured Listings" heading. In addition, at least 2 more listings will appear in the first 10 results.

3. Kanoodle partners with eSpotting.com

Now when you search at Kanoodle or eSpotting, you have the option of searching for sites within the US or the UK.

If you choose to search for UK sites the results come from eSpotting.com. If you search for US sites the results will originate from Kanoodle's database.

After the recent launch of GoTo UK in early November eSpotting offers UK specific advertising, with a lower minimum bid.

The minimum bid at eSpotting still isn't as low compared to US based pay per click search engines, but at 2 pence is a lot cheaper than GoTo UK.
