1. FindWhat.com's answer to AdSense
====================================
FindWhat today unveiled AdRevenue Xpress, an automated distribution partner program targeting small to mid-sized businesses. The distribution method is similar to Google's AdSense, but it uses category or keyword-targeting, rather than
contextual targeting.
Partners can either add a search box which returns ads from the FindWhat.com network or display ads directly by choosing a FindWhat.com category and displaying ads from that category. It is possible for a publisher to avoid displaying ads for a competitor by instead showing ads for related products in other categories.
The display is similar to that of Adsense text links but while AdSense is based on the content of the page AdRevenue XPress is based on pre-selected categories or keywords. Publishers are able to display ads from both Google and Findwhat on the same page if they wish.
The program is initially being offered only to FindWhat.com's advertisers, Distribution partners who reinvest their share of the earned revenue back into their FindWhat.com advertiser campaigns will get a 10% reward bonus.
Rick Szatkowski of FindWhat.com says "With the reinvestment option, publishers who typically may not have participated in paid search to drive traffic to their site could now reinvest back into an advertising campaign and drive more traffic to
their site, and not really ever have to have an advertising budget, because it's self-funded."
Publishers who are not currently FindWhat.com advertisers canopen a new advertising account then use AdRevenue Xpress to place ads on their own site and participate in the 10% reward bonus.

2. FindWhat.com launches local search
=======================================
FindWhat.com's new local search solution gives publishers the ability to use a two-box search implementation for their users. One box is for users to enter a relevant keyword or keyword phrase, the other to indicate a geographic territory.
Apparently many searchers don't realize that they can add a geographic identifier within a one-box search box query. By providing a separate search box for the geographic portion FindWhat.com helps structure the search in a simple and easy-
to-understand format for the searcher.
"By equipping our distribution partners with the technical implementation to deliver local search capabilities for its users, and the inventory of ads to fill the local search queries, distribution partners are better able to satisfy their users' growing thirst for local search results," says Rick Szatkowski of FindWhat.com.
